The Rodney Institute

An Election Integrity Research Project Founded by Us in 2021.

What is the Rodney Institute?

In the wake of the 2020 election and the many claims that were swirling around regarding the possibilities of fraud and similar illegitimate manipulations of election procedures, we committed in early 2021 to use our superior understanding of Democratic election activity to investigate what had occurred in 2020. In the Summer of 2021 this became a new entity called the Caesar Rodney Election Research Institute

What is the purpose of CRERI?

In the last 20 years Democratic think tanks have spent north of $250 million annually on efforts to study election procedures and to lobby for major changes. They have done this with giant success in changing how we vote but in the same 20 years there have been almost no reciprocal efforts on the Left. Total spending across the conservative movement on study of these efforts has been less than $5 million annually at the national level with slightly more efforts to study such things by a few state level conservative think tanks.
The Rodney Institute was founded to be the first organization on the Right to dedicate itself to studying all efforts at election manipulation by liberal think tanks and to study whether these efforts improperly damage the fairness or integrity of our non-partisan election administration.

Has the Rodney Institute made any research breakthroughs?

Yes! In late 2021, Dr. William Doyle, our senior researcher, published a series of articles exposing the over $400 million efforts of Mark Zuckerberg and his wife to privately fund manipulations of some of the largest election offices in the country with direct cash infusions. Executed by a small Chicago think tank called CTCL that is staffed by famous Democratic operatives, this cash infusion into election offices in key cities where Democrats were trying to win the electoral votes led to very significant changes in the vote in those states. Our machine learning guided research was able to prove that the election results were changed by this spending. The most significant article on this was published in October 2021 on the front page of the New York Post.Since 2021, we have continued our research not only into 2020 but into the last two decades of election manipulation efforts by a large number of liberal think tanks.

Who is Dr. Bill Doyle?

Dr. Doyle has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tennessee and taught Economics at the University of Dallas for almost three decades. He specializes in measuring the impact of events by counterfactual analysis and is currently the nations’ greatest expert on the private funding of elections. Dr. Doyle originally hails from Colorado but lives in Dallas, Texas today. His team of researchers is continuing to analyze the ways the “Zuckbucks” changed results in 2020 in the key battleground states of Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan and beyond. Dr. Doyle is not a partisan. In fact, he has a long history of support for the Democratic Party in his personal life prior to this work. His goals are to restore election methods and procedures to a truly non-partisan status where no Party has an advantage based on methods.

Why has there been so little research into election methods by Conservatives?

Good question. There are some important exceptions like the work of Hans Von Spakovsky at The Heritage Foundation and J. Christian Adams at the Public Interest Legal Foundation, but there has simply not been a major commitment of people of funding to investigate what the Democrats are doing. Maybe conservative people have been too trusting or maybe we just do not think about seeking advantages by changing methods. Whatever the reasons, it is long overdue that the many many changes in how we vote are studied and discussed and some of those changes are challenged.  The Rodney Institute will dedicate itself to this large goal for the long term. We will not use hunches and guesses and speculation but real evidence drawn from public data, FOIA requests and smart research. It is our goal to share all our conclusions and facts with the legislators whose job is guarantee fairness in election procedures.
